What is bullying?
The dictionary definition of bullying is:to use superior strength or influence to intimidate (someone), typically to force him or her to do what one wants.
There are many types of bullying:
Verbal:
When some one says something that offends you, calls you names, threatens or teases you.
Physical:
When some one or a group of people physically hurt you. For example they could kick, push or hit/punch you. When it causes you physical harm.
Social:
When a group of people are leaving you out or excluding you, or spreading rumours. This is quite a common one.
Cyber bullying:
This is when someone online, for example, on Facebook, twitter, tumblr etc is bullying you. This can be a form of mental bullying. It happens when some one makes comments over the internet that really offend you. It doesn't just happen once, it keeps on happening. It can start to affect how you are feeling.
All these types of bullying are as bad as the other. They all affect how you feel about yourself and how you live your life.
